Kawasaki has just come out with the new ZX-10R. The new liter class super bike was shown at this year’s Paris Motor Show and the Tokyo Motor Show. All the usual blah-blah that is associated with new launches is there. Kawasaki are claiming power increase, new frame, new swingarm, new brakes and all the shebang. But what is interesting is that they are not talking much about the….sshhhh!!….Traction Control. Damn it!!
The legal beagles at Kawasaki don’t want the company to mention it with that name. Scared of being slapped with lawsuits by bikers who are too stupid to control the bike and hurting themselves. All that is fine, but the real interesting thing is the race bred technology trickling down in street machines. The system doesn’t cut in too early, so all the owners will still be able to enjoy the manic power and burnouts and stoppies. But remember not to boast about the…you know what to your friends, cause it isn’t what it is.
